The Association welcomed Professor Laurie Heatherington, Department Chair and Edward Dorr Griffin Professor of Psychology, in August to speak about relationships. Her dynamic presentation on all sorts of relationships -- marriages, child/teen, boss/employee -- resonated with the class. A full house gave Prof. Heatherington a great set of questions that led to an interesting discussion, followed by a strong round of applause!
Thanks to Education Chair Sarah Rispin '96 for organizing and to the Advisory Board Company for hosting. Photos will be posted soon!
Looking ahead, our October Forum, The New Urban Right, will be led by Prof. Steve Sheppard of the Williams economics department and Mike Curtin '86, speaking on urban renewal, gentrification, and the effects on low-income urban residents.
